Dear Nick,

I am afraid my reply to your off-list mail bounced back two times, I don't
know why.
This is what I wrote:

amazing that YOU should ask me! I have heard that you play a Viennese
mouthpiece (is it a Hammerschmidt 0 ?) and hope that people abroad will
follow your example. I use the PL (Peter Leuthner) NT, "Wiener Schnitt,
professional" as sort of blanks on which I work with Dutch rush etc. They
vary quite a bit but have a superiour substance, as far as I can tell. Some
are very heavy indeed. But every package contains at least one reed that,
with a little finishing, makes me happy for a while.
