I used an O'Brien OB* when I played a crystal mouthpiece on my Bb and A. I
always had pitch problems with it - flatness specifically.

I also have an O'Brien OB*. I do not use it much any more. Its tuning on
my Selmer Series 10 is just dandy, but you can play only so loud on it. It
hits a point where it will simply not accept any more air. It requires a
stiff reed, in my case a Mitchell Lurie 4 1/2, rather than the 3 1/2 I use
with my Woodwind K10M, because of the very small tip opening. For Curtis
Bennett, if you are looking for a bigger sound, a larger tip opening may help.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
