Michele---I have enough aged Vandoren #5's to last my lifetime---for clarinet and baritone sax. Carl Fischer soft for jazz and 3 1/2 -4 for classical on tenor sax for life too. Also plenty of alto and bass clarinet in great brands---30-40 years old. Some other horns I am short on---only 10 years supply or less.

The beauty is that Steve Adelstein gave so many clinics at our store that I can make ALL of these work MUCH better. Steve is really a great reed teacher---I would be glad to put anybody in touch with him, and highly recommend study with him.

(831) 345-1826 on weekends. He is traveling from the Mexican to Canadian borders in the West with the weather.

For those that don't know his name---he developed the "American Scrape" for oboe, and he and Opperman worked together for years.

Kurt

I have heard that also Sabine Meyer plays these reeds. Perhaps they are
good, aren't they?!
Best regard Michele from Venice
p.s. I continue to play Vandoren ones. I am devoted to them. You know how
it is...

Marvelous cane!!!! and now 36 years old. As I understand it, at that time
Gebhard Steuer was handmaking reeds in Lindau Bodensee. They are all hand
finished and very smooth, individually packaged. Really a classy reed
company back then. I haven't seen any of the modern ones---will have to try
them.
