Ormondtoby reminds me of my "modern editions" which sometime have notes
from staves above and below intersecting with each other, the lack of
gratuitous accidentals as reminders, rests in the first measure of the
piece where no one plays until the pickup at the end and trills which are
written out so that the generated MIDI files sound right.

When people begin to piss and moan about these idiosyncracies I always
apologize condescendingly and offer that I mistakenly thought the people in
this group could read music (and since now I know they can't, next time
I'll transpose the whole thing to be in the key of C, adagio, and in 4/4
time) 8-)
