To swing or not to swing brings to my attention two other pieces that
could get the either or treatment: The Bernstein and Sparke pieces.
To me they both have extensive sections that seem to be begging for a
swing intrepretation, either rhythmically or with stylistic phrasing,
but are being played in a reserved manner as though the performer either
can't swing or doesn't out of some sense of musical taste or composers
desires.

Any comments?
