It is with sadness that I advise that Abe Galper died today at his home
in Toronto.

A group was planning a celebration in September for his 83rd birthday
which would have been August 16. He had been failing the last month or
two.

A beloved teacher to so many, Abe was Principal Clarinetist with the
Toronto Symphony for 30 years, and published well-known books on technique.

Sympathies to his wife, Charna, and their family.
