All of the fabric ligatures I have used have "posts," one threaded and =
the
other unthreaded. They can easily be interchanged.

Then I stand corrected. I should have said "some ligatures". I
checked my original student Yamaha, and it lacks threads on the other
side. My Rovner has both sides threaded. Sorry.
