Christy,

I got an idea for such a device. It's cheap and and it seems to work
quite well. It's a small rubber band wound several times around the
base of the mouthpiece below ligature and reed...NOT over the base of
the reed. It gives enough friction to enable easy removal of the m/p.
(Don't try this in the concert hall until perfected at home).
