Being serious for a moment --- I hesitated to recommend this because
somebody might seriously object that "You caused me to ruin the sound of
my favorite mouthpiece"--- what you're looking for is a 'no-skid'
surface to grip. A single large drop of epoxy (after gently breaking
the gloss with 600-grit sandpaper on a small area of the mouthpiece) may
be enough to give you the grip that you want.

....and I won't charge you even $25 for this idea. :-)
