I think there is useful material but also an overwhelming amount of
serious stupidity with lots of personal preference being presented as
"fact", e.g. the stated opinion that "all tonguing should be legato
tonguing" (what if that's not what the music requires?), the "debunking"
of the Nielsen Concerto (claiming that it's formless [it's not], the
thematic material is not developed [it is], and a load of other stuff I
can't remember), and a lot of ridiculous comments on national schools of
playing which are out of date at best (the comments about French players
I found particularly stupid).

Put it this way - I think the archives of this mailing list are a much
better point of reference! ;-)
