I purchased a Yamaha CSV Bb at the clarinet convention in New Orleans in
2001. The particular instrument was one that Hiroshi Nakajima, their
resident clarinet wizard, tinkered over for three days while fielding
questions behind the booth. It has four different kinds of pads - cork,
bladder, Valentino and white leather - depending on which tone hole is
covered. (The white leather is used for the big holes on the bottom joint).

I like this clarinet very much. The white leather pads seal quite well. I
don't know where Hiroshi got them, but they're obviously gettable.
