Virginia, you *have* accomplished one thing --- you have gotten WalMart
to reply to you. IMO, you should follow up with _them_ by saying
something along the lines of:

"Thank you for referring me to First Act. I have talked with their
representative, and I would like you to know what the gentleman said and
why I feel that his statements were ridiculous.

"It saddens me to see WalMart doing this sort of thing to their
customers who are unaware. I have no choice but to question WalMart as
a trustworthy store if you continue to sell First Act clarinets after
having been told by a competent clarinetist and teacher that the
instruments [....recitation of the harm they cause]

"As a teacher, I cannot avoid informing local students and parents of my
opinion.

"Here's what the First Act representative said to me, and here's why I
feel that his statements are ridiculous...."
