No doubt. I'll try to avoid purely subjective, fuzzy, definitionless terms
like that ...

It did last time at the Prudential garage a few years ago when I visited
Rayburn to try out some cornets and met my wife for lunch afterwards (about
four hours).

Uh oh. If we were talking about beer, I'd agree; but on this List,
someone is going to explain to you why "dark and mellow" has no meaning
for clarinet timbre.....
