I had a man bring me a Bundy clarinet a few weeks ago. He wanted it fixed up
so his daughter could play it.
Obviously, he could not afford, nor was the clarinet worth a complete
professional overhaul.
He was smart though. To save money, he had cleaned the clarinet meticulously
before he brought it to me.
Since I didn't have to do the cleaning, I was able to do a "re-pad" (and a
partial re-cork) very reasonably.
