I'm not sure how you prevent moisture from collecting in the holes in
the first place, but I use cigarette paper (no lint and small) to blot
up the moisture. Since it's difficult to find cigarette paper without
the glue, you have to avoid using that edge. Better yet, if you can get
a pack where the papers are stacked and not attached or folded in some
way, you can cut off the glued edge and put them back in the cover so
you don't have to worry about the glue. Other than that, swab whenever
you can.
