Bummer about the back. I've had back trouble since I was 29. For the
operaphiles among you...at it's worst, a throw-out back makes me look
like I could play Rigoletto without body makeup. Medication takes 20
points off my IQ, but chiropractry has helped. Sue, that'll learn you
not to carry a contrabass clarinet in one hand and three suitcases in
the other:-).

Didn't you tell me Mark's the guy who put on the Groucho Marx glasses
and mustache to travel incognito?

I still owe you a reply to a note, Kelly, and as for the rest...well, I
can't even use my imagination anymore.

I guess these trips cost somebody some serious money no matter where
they're held. Ostend, Belgium a few years back, right? N'awleans? If
I start rowing now I might make Tokyo, but I gather everything in Japan
is so expensive that the Japanese come here for the good prices. I'm
holding out for New York. I guess that won't happen until after the
Republicans clean up the beer spills and throw out the escorts that
Cheney hired.

Oh God, but I completely empathize. Back trouble is something that gets
slower to heal as you get older. When you hit 30, Susie, you'll really
start to feel it....
