Hello I am new to all of you but I have been watching all the conversations
for a while now. I just learned how to write an E-mail in plain text. My name
is Krista. I am 19 years old and currently living in the Washington (State)
area originally from Ohio. In two years I plan to return (military reasons). I
play the Bb clarinet (7 years) but I am also interested in maybe trying some
others too. I also play the Alto Sax (4 years), Baritone (3 years), and some
other stuff not well enough to comment on. I plan on going into music somehow I
don't really know what I want to do yet. I like to teach so I was thinking about
that, or maybe just being a player. Any suggestions/constructive criticism on
anything is more then welcome. just to give you an idea of where I am at here
when I was in high school we played college music such as bolero, Overture
1812, Light Cavalry Etc. I was a soloist my senior year and attended contest 5
years never receiving anything lower then a 2 and sometimes getting a 1 (1-5 1
best 3 average 5 worst) I have never had private lessons (no matter how much I
begged) but I think I have a chance at being something in music. and help
opinions or anything would be appreciated. Thank You
