Tony,
I have both of the Henle Urtext Weber concerto's and agree that their
approach is very good.
I purchased my copies at Arioso in Paris about a month ago and was told that
these are the best editions out there right now by the sales clerk.
I'm pleased you seem to agree. I also found what may be a newer edition of
the Nielsen concerto as well, but I'm not sure since I have not owned any
previous copies. It has a dark blue cover and is an orchestral size
printing. Below is a web site that I found which documents this particular
edition. It is
published by Wilhelm Hansen from Copenhagen.

Also, here is the listing on the Wilhelm Hansen web site. I have the
catalogue # CN00040 publication.

<< Someone just turned up here in Siena with the Henle Urtext for the Weber
first concerto.
I have to say that the material, plus the introduction, satisfies everything
that I've ever wanted from a publisher for this work, and probably for the
other Weber pieces, though I haven't seen them yet. >>
