Actually I think I boought a Sharp model after reading a post from you a while
back that mentioned this feature (which is, or at least was at the time, unique
to Sharp)! :-)

I know about this feature, but have never tried it. How is it with
distinguishing between very, very quiet passages (barely a whisper) and
complete silence? Have you ever lost parts of a performance because of this?
