Actually, I think that you are referring to Bob & Ray as "Burt & Harry"
Piel. Piels Beer was pure swill. Their ad campaign saved the
company. Piels eventually developed "Real Draft" in a can - which was a
decent brew. Bob & Ray retired and the company disappeared.
Marketing saved the company for a while; but the product can't remain swill
forever.
