Why do you think clarinets of the same make/model made in the factory at
roughly the same time period can sound/respond/tune so differently.

AND.....look at some of the wood they are using these days. I inspected a new
clarinet the other day, and the wood looked like dyed plywood!

I can imagine "old-timer" instrument rolling over in their graves!
