Joe, I've used several different types of tuning rings, but the ones I =
most
liked were an aluminum set I once had. I got them from a woodwind =
repairman
in the Milwaukee area and have never been able to find any since then. =
Like
Tony's brass set, they have disappeared over the years, but I am certain
there is at least one under the outdoor bandshell in the town I live in. =
I
think they cost about $10 US. Aluminum retains heat so they provided =
less
fluctuation in my intonation when switching instruments. =20
