Hello all,

Noting that I seemed to need to pull out quite a bit to get my clarinet
in tune, I recently purchased some tuning rings---just a cheap plastic set.

Unfortunately with these in place the sound quality worsens somewhat.

Is it usual to have these rings made of plastic or is another material
usually used for better results? Can anyone advise about from where to
buy a good set?
