There is a very inexpensive program called Spectogram (try a google search)
that when used on your PC with a good microphone will give you a reading of
the audio spectrum produced audio equipment or a "clarinet". I ust this
to set up filter band widths on my amateur radio equipment. I am not at
all sure that this would be as good as an oscilloscope!
