Hello all,
I'm a senior clarinet major attempting to play the Doppman Dance Variations
for my fall recital. Does anyone have any general advice for me? I have
become very overwhelmed at the length of the piece. I have been trying to
learn it slowly, one page at a time, and then going back over the material.
I also am trying to play it musically, although I find that to be very
difficult as well, because it's so different from all of the pieces I have
played. Are there any recordings available? I have gone through my
university's recordings, music stores, and online, and have found nothing.
I'd appreciate any help from anyone.

Thanks,
Tracy Jones
