This certainly can't be the original poster named, "Warren Rosenberg".....
There seems to be a hint of a clarinet question in the post! (his first?)
There have been many discussions on the list about the material used to
manufacture clarinets.

Not to say that wood isn't serviceable....but there are very fine
professional level material options out there in the marketplace and I
believe that we will see more soon.
