in critical need are waiting for the service they need--if they were, I
wouldn't practice here."
This observation is supported by several friends who have had the misfortune
to develop cancer over the past few years.
None of this is meant to recommend the Canadian system to you--the US needs
to deal with its own issues in its own way, a way which fits the social and
political beliefs of its own citizens.
