44 Million Americans last year did without health insurance. The health of
Americans, the richest country in the world, has fallen behind the rest of the
industrialized world. Our health care system is broken. We spend more on health
care per capita than any other nation, and we are getting less and less real
care at the same time.

Quoting the Washington Post "The United States spends almost 15 percent of
its income on health care, far more than other advanced countries. That's about
$5,540 a year for every man, woman and child....Costs are rising four times as
fast as wages. One informed estimate places the cost of employer-sponsored
health care coverage for the average family at $14,500 in 2006, just two years
from now."

While this situation endures, President Bush is "disappointed" that the
Senate dismissed his gay marriage ban.

Well, Mr. Bush, I am disappointed in YOU.

I want a new President. I want leadership that is concerned about the welfare
of ALL Americans, and yes, the rest of the world as well. I am tired of
leadership that pushes its own vicious, uncaring ideological agenda at the expense
of others.

Why am I posting this on a clarinet related list? Because I'm telling
everyone I can.
