I'm very fond of a (jazz) album by Hamiet Bluiett called 'The Clarinet
Family' (Black Saint 120097). Though primarily a saxophonist, Bluiett here
leads a group consisting of eight clarinets (from contabass to sopranino)
plus bass and drums. A word of warning, though: a few passages of
collective improvisation are perhaps not for those of a very nervous
disposition.
