I couldn't avoid noticing that the score by a German-born composer
(Handel), and written for an English king, and printed in the 1800's in
Germany, uses Italian markings. Handel became a naturalized English
citizen, and he studied/lived in Italy for a period of time. So it's
easy to understand, but it does jump out at you.
