There are several works w/strings which are gorgeous (the prok. isn't
one of em...) - I have to find the CD that Michele sent me of her dad
Kalman Bloch playing them and I'll write back. Really, really pretty
works.

I have been asked to participate in a chamber orchestra program this
September. We will be performing in a Synagogue. I have been asked if
I have
anything
suitable something with Jewish themes and/or by Jewish composers.

The orchestration would be solo clarinet and strings.

(We plan on doing the Prokofieff "Overture on Hebrew Themes" sometime
in the
future, but for this concert, we will not have a piano.)
