Try the Kooiman "Etude" model first. It costs only a fraction of what the
"Maestro" runs, and only uses the holes from your existing thumbrest. It
may not be quite as effective as the "Maestro" (when properly set up, which
is a challenge in itself), but the price is right, it can be installed by
anyone with reasonable manual skills, and if it looks like it might be the
answer, you can always move up.
