Thanks for everyone's help. (I almost said ya'll, but I realized I would
sound like I was from Arkansas!) You encouraged me to try some more
combinations. I've been using the Rubank books but wasn't sure that
was enough. I'll keep using them and add Rose Etudes for the more advanced.
I've also tried the new V-12 reeds, and was excited with the first one, it played
so well, but the next one was awful. Maybe it is my mouthpiece. I just can't seem
to find consistency in anything.
