In all fairness, I did play one amplified big band gig that worked out
well. It was in the large show hall in a casino, although the event was a
private party. The casino provided the sound guy and equipment. I have no
idea what it sounded like up front, but the monitor speakers he provided
really helped us hear OURSELVES. We probably played one of our best jobs
ever because of that.
