Would those of you attending Clarinetfest please keep an ear out for the
clarinet choir music by Andy Jackson being played by the British Clarinet=

Ensemble that is performing there? It's (provisionally) at 4.30 pm on wed=

21 July. Andy is a friend of mine and conductor of the innovative Cobweb
community orchestra network in the north of England based on the
professional Northern Sinfonia. He told me last week that he is getting
more and more interested in clarinet and wind ensemble sound, and we need=

to encourage good composers for us! He also has written a wind nonet and =
a
clarinet quartet, which I am trying out at my Kammermusik workshop in a
couple of weeks time. Any feedback and encouragement, or criticism, would=

be much appreciated and I will pass it on to him. You can post it to the
List or privately to me, as appropriate.
