I think my tenors probably ARE fussier than the other saxes, now that you
mention it. Long rods and keys, but not built quite as beefy as the
baris. But the big difference seems to be sound concept. I have no sound
concept issues with alto or soprano or even bari, but it has taken a while
to get tenor settled in. Getting my vintage Martin helped, but I wish it
had the ergonomics of the Yamaha! It would be nice if my alto clarinet had
decent ergonomics, too. The finger spreads are so awkward!
