If yours reeds don't respond they way they used to, it's possible that the
mouthpiece specs have changed. There is scientific as well as anecdotal evidence
that mouthpiece measurements can "drift" over a period of time.

This is documented in notes and writings of A. Benade, as well as others.

You might want to have your mouthpiece checked by a mouthpiece technician --
or try some new ones.

Its not ALWAYS the reeds that are a problem.
