The saxophone articles (that Gary cited) link 'mouthpiece pitch' with
timbre but not with intonation.

Intuitively, it seems to me that doing something with embouchure to
change mouthpiece pitch should lower your intonation on the assembled
clarinet as well?

How is bending mouthpiece pitch different from bending a note on an
assembled clarinet?
