I'm not sure that any of the difficulties added by the arranger's choice of
key (the actual key signature, of course, is meaningless - it's just that
certain chromatic fingering combinations are more awkward than others) or
placement of breathing opportunities will impress or even be noticed by a
listener *unless* he is very clarinet-aware and listening specifically to
hear how the player accommodates/overcomes these problems, none of which
were placed in the composition by Rimsky-Korsakoff. But let's see if anyone
else nibbles at this.
