How did an innocent, virtuous, noble person such as I ever get in
doo-doo this deep about something that was not his fault? In my
own defense, I remind you that I did not get east that time
because I had a heart attack. It wasn't personal, at least not
between me and Nancy (though possibly between my heart and the
rest of me).

He can't come to ClarinetFest with the book because the Eastern
Leeson
Roadblock Society hasn't received compensation for the last
promised visit
to our land. No passage will be granted until we receive payment
