Subj: [kl] Dan Leeson: Help, help. Sales idea!

Excuse me if you've thought of this already.
There are 100's of mozart and classical groups comprising thousands of
potential buyers on the internet that you might want to write directly with
a link to amazon announcing your book. I would also check with Amazon
management immediately, if you haven't already, to get your book listed
there, especially since it's on the Japan and other sites. Here's one page
from the 284 msn.com group page relating to mozart.

http://partners.search.msn.com/partner.asp?q=mozart&CO=50&RS=CHECKED&qap=&FORM=COENUS&dom=groups.msn.com&cfg=COENUS&ba=0&v=1&lng=

Type in mozart into google and see all the other mozart/classical groups
that you can write. Then, word of mouth among these members will generate
sales for you. "Ordinary" people will be further down the time line. I
would start with the niche that the book appeals to first. Ordinary people
don't read many books, and 80% of your buyers will be people with music
interests. By the way, there was a great site for translating Japanese into
English for the person who ordered off the Japan site. But that site
(shodouka.com) seems to have been stolen, and I'm trying to find out what
has replaced it. Warren
