Warren,

You're getting warmer....you used the word "clarinet" in your last post.
Yea! But then you had to ruin it by saying:

"I do maintain I have an open mind"....and then you encourage
NOT....."expose(ing) oneself to ideas other than one's own"....
This seems such a contradiction???

"upon the suggestions of eminent members of the faculty"??? Careful Warren,
if you take the advise of these "eminent members of the faculty"....you
*might be exposing yourself to an idea other than your own???

Your clever use of words and language "exposes" your expertise as a writer.
How about clarinet? How do you come by your interest in music and more
specifically, the klarinet list?

Forest Aten

I've always been unclear about the word <oneself>. Would it be better to use
<one's self>? Just a thought. Or....should we follow your example and use
<oneown> as well as <oneself>?
