Yes, that's the song! I had thought that "Laroo, Laroo" was intended
as an expression of..... well, anticipatory lust.

Perhaps, then, an American composer enjoyed the UK melody and simply
wrote his or her own lyrics to it?

It's easy to forget how well Sinatra sang, by the way.
