Subj: [kl] The Bush Junta & Question of the Day. Plus Ridenour Reed Finishing
Date: Wed, 30 Jun 2004 02:52:29 -0400

In response to Warren Rosenberg's email I'd like to stand up and shout,
very, very loudly that I agree whole-heartedly with his sentiments. No need
to repeat what he has so admirably stated. However, let me add that ALL mail
I receive from the Klarinet list with a heading such as The Bush Junta, I
immediately delete. (The only reason that I glanced at his email is because
of his addendum, "& question of the day".) I'm sure we've all had plenty of
practice with the delete button. Spam has taught us to override any natural
curiosity in this regard.

Phew! I feel better already.

I've been playing clarinet (trying to) for a great deal of time. As a result
of one of your recent correspondent's emails, I've invested in the Ridenour
Definitive Guide to Reed Finishing. I'm still evaluating this system and
intend to advise subscribers of my own experiences at a later date. In the
meantime though, is there anybody else who has used this product and has any
comments?

Let me add, once again, that, "If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of
the band is TOO LOUD!" is effing annoying every time.

Peter Johnson
