I think you're wrong. This list is just fine. I've been reading and
contributing to it for 9 years (is that possible?). It survives the political
digressions. It is a list for clarinetists in which they talk about what is
important to them, which includes a lot of clarinet info. Many people before have
asked for us to stick only to clarinets, but the list survives, I think, because
it is unmoderated and therefore kind of chaotic and interesting. I happen to
not support Bush because he started a war without seeming to know what the
consequences of war are. But sometimes I wonder if he knows something, or even
if inadvertently something good might come from this horror. So I listen to
some of the politics and delete some of the politics. I do not believe in
being dogmatic, and I think that most of the readers of this list agree that the
list should not be dogmatically limited to clarinets. Stop telling us to stop
digressing! Read this a while. When you feel like talking, comment on some
clarinet stuff if that's what you like.
