At first I thought the subject of this email refered to a somewhat more
romantic relationship with the instrument, and considering the art work I
can't blame you ;-)

As an owner of a vintage Conn alto myself, I can offer a little information
from the research I have done. The "Naked Lady" saxes are the most prized
Conn horns starting production around 1935. The serial number ranges are
from 260XXX-834XXX.

Check out http://www.saxpics.com/conn/m_series1.htm for very detailed
information on the naked lady series. Depending on the condition it could
be worth anywhere from $2000-$4000.

aunt gave me an alto sax last night that she played in high school and i'd
like to find out more about it. Its made by C.G.Conn and has engraving on
the bell including an apparantely naked woman in a pentagon. I dont have
any clue where to start other than here even though its for clarinets. Are
there anywebsites that have information like that? All i can find are sites
selling new Conn instruments.
