I can't help wondering if there is a market for what you appear to be
writing about.

I think that adult beginners on the clarinet (many of whom have some
musical background), would tend to move fairly fast at first and would have
learned to play all the notes (at least in the keys of F, C, and G) in the
lower register in a couple of weeks and would be playing up to a high C
within six months (this assumes a teacher).

60 Rambles by Leon Lester is a good example of music which is interesting
enough to appeal to relative beginners of all ages.
