It seems to me that you should buy a fingering book with clear diagrams.
Then you can make your own decisions. Many people like "303 Clarinet
Fingerings" which Gary Van Cott (who posts on this list) sells by mail
for $10 or $15.

Crossing the break (changing registers by using the register key) is a
challenge for beginners, more because it imposes requirements on
embouchure and breath than on finger dexterity.

Some beginners struggle with using their little fingers.

Proper use of the A-key (not dragging other fingers away from their
positions in order to depress the A-key) is another struggle for some
beginners.

Trying to memorize too many fingerings at once is always a problem, of
course.
