Evette Master model. The E13 from that period was essentially an R13. I have
a number of R13's --two are the pick of 120 I sold in 1975-76. My E13 is
right up there with them.

Symphonies. I sold one to my clarinet professor Clement Hutchinson, who
picked it out over 13 R13's!!!!

E11 Evette (wood)(now available in a plastic model B11)(German)
E12 the Master Model (not sure about where the Master Model was
manufactured...pretty sure not Germany)
E13 the Evette Schaeffer (made in France)

The E13 was rumored, for years, to be reject R13s. I have never been able to
confirm this. Perhaps François Kloc can elaborate on the history of the E13.
When they were available and reasonably priced, I had many fine E13's come
through my studio. I think marketing (perhaps I should say the market place)
killed the E13.
