In about 2 weeks, I am putting up a pair of Selmer FULL BOEHM
clarinets for sale and both of them can play down to low written
d, but not at the same time. I device that permits the low d
goes in one instrumet or the other. You'd need a second device
to play low d on both instruments at the same time.

The A is gorgeous. The B-flat is distinctily weaker. Had them
both overhauled by Clark Fobes and after a while of sitting
around, Rufus Acosta also did some work just a week ago.

Both instruments descend to low E-flat (or low d), both have left
hand e-flat and a-flat keys, articulated f-sharp, and left hand g
to b-flat tremulo key. I don't think that these instruments are
being made any longer.

The b-flat is the instrument for which Prokoffiev wrote the Peter
and the Wolf solo. It's often played on an A, but it is supposed
to be played on a b-flat clarinet that descends to a low e-flat.

There are four barrels, and a super double case.

Contact me privately.
